Valerie & Frank had a lovely day planned at Anthony’s at Paxon Hollow Country Club. Philadelphia area has so many country clubs, but we were thrilled to have a chance to work at Paxon Hollow Country Club. These two love each other so deeply you can feel in the the air around them. From the moment we arrived there was nothing, but love and laughter filling the room. There was no doubt it was going to be a wonderful June wedding.
Getting Ready At Anthony’s At Paxon Hollow
Valerie and the bridesmaids were in the bridal suite at Paxon Hollow Country Club relaxing. They started the day in robes, an ombre of blues, getting their make up and hair done by Bridal Beauty By Laura. Valerie had the help of her mom to get into her dress and add her jewelry. Her dress was an Oleg Cassini and she looked amazing in it, Frank had no idea what he was in for. Valerie thought ahead and had a pair of sequin converse to wear during the reception. Meanwhile Frank and the groomsmen were getting ready at his moms house nearby. Frank was spending his morning relaxing and playing with his moms camera shy yorkie. The groomsmen were getting ready and helping each other fold pocket squares and even locate the missing pocket squares. After finding all the pieces, and working their way to the cars, they drove to Anthony’s at Paxon Hollow to join the ladies.
First Look at Paxon Hollow Country Club
Frank was awaiting Valerie down on the golfing green, when she descended the stairs behind him. He was so excited to see her, but before he knew it Valerie tapped him on the shoulder and he knew it was time. We watched as both of their nerves dissipated and they stared at each other lovingly soaking in the moment of solitude.
Ceremony At Paxon Hollow Country Club
Their ceremony was on the patio overlooking the golf course, on a gorgeous sunny day. Valerie and Frank had their ceremony programs made into fans in anticipation of it being a warmer day. Valerie Uncle was the officiant of their ceremony and he led Frank and the groomsmen into the ceremony. When Valerie made her entrance everyone stood and took in her beauty and happiness and let it flow through them. Valerie and Frank had handwritten vows that pulled at the heartstrings of everyone there, including us. They chose an untraditional ceremony, and did a tree planting ceremony to symbolize the roots of their relationship and the love that will continue to grow between them. Frank could hardly wait to kiss his wife, they were finally pronounced husband and wife, and the guests broke out in excitement.
Reception At Paxon Hollow County Club
Valerie and Frank entered into their impeccably decorated ballroom to commence their first dance as husband and wife. They had their first dance to Stand By Me by Florence and the Machine. Their passion for each other filled the room and it felt as if time stood still. The bridal party gave their toasts full of happy tears and laughter, and the guests were officially ready to party the night away. Even those who couldn’t be with them in person on their special day had made it to the reception. Valerie and Frank had an “in loving memory” table to commend them. Franks grandmother had prepared a bunch of desserts for the wedding, and people just couldn’t resist the homemade treats that tasted like a piece of heaven. Guests joined Valerie and Frank on the dance floor and partied the night away.
Congratulations Valerie and Frank, thank you for giving us the honor to be a part of your wedding day! We wish you many more nights at Carraba’s eating mozzarella sticks, only to go home and watch comedies together. Heres to lots of love, laughter, and a happily every after in your marriage. We can’t wait to photograph you again! *wink, wink*
