Artsano Iron Works Wedding | Lauren Sharpe & Chaz Truesdale

Artesano Iron Works was the stage that had been set for Lauren and Chaz’s wedding. Everything came together for them and their closest friends and family to enjoy an incredible ceremony and reception honoring their love.

Getting Ready for the Artesano Iron Works Wedding

Lauren greeted us with a warm smile and absolutely zero stress when we arrived to begin capturing her wedding day. Makeup and hair was buzzing along and so we collected her details and made sure that all the beautiful things Lauren had taken time to select were forever captured in all their glory. It wasn’t too long before we needed to skedaddle because of how unpredictable Friday rush hour can be. So, with a few loose ends to tie up, we departed for her Artestano Iron Works wedding ceremony.

Meanwhile, only a mile or so from Artesano, Chaz and his groomsmen were getting ready. Everyone was relaxed, jokes were flying, and Chaz was finishing up his wedding day look. We loved his wine colored jacket that fit like a glove. We knew Lauren was going to love it too! One little hiccup occurred when one of the guys realized the shirt he was given was too small. So, we took a little detour to Target to get a new dress shirt that actually fit him. A wedding day first for the team. Then it was off to the ceremony!

The Artesano Iron Works Wedding Ceremony

Friends and family gathered in the bright ceremony room inside Artesano Iron Works. They chatted amongst themselves while Lauren and the ladies put the finishing touches on makeup and donned their gowns. In a non-denominational service, they exchanged their vows, promising to be with each other always, and sealed their union with rings and a kiss. After a rousing cheer from everyone, it was time for formals and then party!

Portraits After the Artesano Iron Works Wedding

There’s a super cute tow path in Manayunk just across the street along the river, and it was golden hour. The happiest hour for photographers with a short amount of time to create beautiful portraits. We wandered up and down the boards, Lauren and Chaz lighting up our cameras everywhere we went. When we had enough, and the newlyweds were getting hungry, we ran back for the Artesano Iron Works wedding reception.

The Artesano Iron Works Wedding Reception

The beautiful second floor of Artesano Iron Works was spectacularly decorated for the reception. We loved Chaz’s touch on the table numbers – naming them after famous boxers. The favors were a personalized shot glass. Everyone settled in for the announcement of the wedding party and were then regaled by Lauren and Chaz’s first dance. The toasts were a wonderful combination of heartfelt and hilarious. Lauren’s best bridesman had everyone in stitches with the story of his first interaction with the bride. After dinner, Lauren and her father danced, and Chaz and his mom stole the show with their medley dance with all the moves. The dance floor opened and it was time for us to head out.
