One thing that fell to the wayside for me these past few months since having Rhys has been hanging out in my kitchen. Those of you who have followed along with me for a while know that I love cooking, food, and meal prep. If I have a lazy day. I’m probably in my kitchen proofing a loaf of homemade bread or whipping up some of my well-loved vegan chocolate chip cookies.
Just a few weeks ago my favorite bamboo cutting board fell off my counter and cracked right down the middle. (I’m not saying it was pushed off the counter by a grabby seven month old, but I’m also not saying it was NOT pushed off the counter. . . if you get my drift.) Thankfully our friend Joe, the mastermind behind Groovy Guy Gifts (as well as Groovy Girl Gifts, Forever Wedding Favors, and the Bridesmaid Gifts Boutique) reached out to show me a few of their newest product lines. Lo & Behold, there were some beautiful wooden cutting boards in the shop!
With Easter coming up, I had a few customized for me and Mike with our wedding date. Yes, it has seriously been over a decade and we’re showing no signs of slowing! I had to sneak these out for some beautiful test shots, because these two beautiful custom his & hers cutting boards are going into his Easter basket! (Along with so much chocolate!)
Even if you don’t spend your free time happily hanging out by the oven, these cutting boards are an incredibly useful addition to your kitchen. But even more so, they’re a great gift. One that will actually be used and appreciated over the years. I can’t wait to gift these and start planning next week’s menu!
