Epic Arts Ballroom Wedding | Yanni Eboras & Shaun Cruz

Yanni and Shaun’s wedding day was full of smiles, sun, and a tuxedo wearing puppy, all in center city Philadelphia. What could be more amazing than that? Perhaps their epic Arts Ballroom wedding reception!

Getting Ready for the Arts Ballroom Wedding

Yanni began her day in a bridal suite at the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia. She enjoyed her morning with her bridesmaids in their matching robes as Aleksandra Ambrozy did their makeup. There was a surprise visit from their dog, Cooper during prep. Cooper was all dressed up in a tux to match the groom and Yanni was overjoyed to see him. We were sad that he wasn’t going to make an appearance at the Arts Ballroom, but this was a good consolation prize.

Yanni was helped into her Galina dress from David’s Bridal by her maid of honor while her bridesmaids and family looked on adoringly. Once fully dressed, she opened her letter from Shaun and shed a few tears of happiness. 

We loved photographing the gorgeous and elegant invite suite from Minted, which looked amazing when styled with the rings from Zale’s Jewelers and Yanni’s Badgley Mischka’s. 

Before leaving for the church we took a minute to make use of the lovely window light at the Bellevue and make a few bridal portraits of Yanni holding her bouquet from Beautiful Blooms.

In another room at the Bellevue, Shaun hung out with his groomsmen as he put on his Calvin Klein Tux from Men’s Wearhouse. Shaun helped his groomsmen with their boutonnieres from Beautiful Blooms before opening a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label and toasting to the day. Before heading off to the church he opened a touching letter from Yanni and a beautiful watch which he was delighted to add to his wedding day getup.

St Augustine Wedding Ceremony

At St Augustine’s, Yanni was escorted down the aisle by her parents. When Shaun saw her enter for the first time the look of love on his face was clear. He was so excited to be marrying Yanni. The priest delivered a beautiful catholic mass, including readings from family members. We loved the huge balcony in the church which allowed us to get some unique angles of the ceremony and the beautiful church architecture. Yanni and Shaun exited the church to a bubble exit before heading over to the Merchant Exchange Building for portraits.

Portraits Around Old City

The shade and the light neutral color of the Merchant Exchange Building provided a beautiful and elegant backdrop for wedding party and couples portraits, which complimented their style perfectly. Before long, it was time for us to head back for their Arts Ballroom wedding reception.

The Arts Ballroom Wedding Reception

The Arts Ballroom was adorned with beautiful details for Yanni and Shaun’s wedding. There were stunning centerpieces with florals from Beautiful Blooms as well as some centerpieces that were gorgeous golden chandeliers. The 5-tier wedding cake from The Master’s Baker, sat beside the Y&S ice sculpture was a particular favorite of ours. 

The reception began with some fun entrances from the wedding party, before the bride and groom made their way down the steps and opened the reception with their first dance, which included a blanket of smoke on the floor that seemed to perfectly cling to the bottom of Yanni’s dress. After a fantastic meal by Garces Events, Yanni and Shaun danced the night away with entertainment from Key Music Group, surrounded by all their friends and family.
