Anna and Jeff’s sweet Front & Palmer wedding was a day filled with sweet anticipation and lots of tender moments.
Getting Ready at the Courtyard Marriott Center City
These two love Philadelphia, and they paid homage to their favorite city all throughout their wedding day. When we arrived, Anna showed us her wedding invitation suite from Paper on Pine. The inked Philadelphia skyline was gorgeous and a beautiful place to photograph their wedding rings from a local favorite: L Priori Jewelers! Lauren had taken the diamond from Jeff’s mother’s ring and used it in Anna’s at his behest.
Anna’s Willowby by Watters wedding dress was beautiful. The lace bodice and understated tulle skirt allowed her natural radiance to shine. Her bridesmaids were all wearing matching chambray shirts so we all jumped on the bed for a photo before Anna donned the dress.
Jeff, just a floor below, was putting the finishing touches on his wedding day look. Sporting a navy blue suit from Generation Tux and some pretty fancy socks, he was every bit an excited groom.
The Philadelphia Street Level First Look and Portraits
Jeff proposed on Quince Street, right near where our Philadelphia studio used to be! Small world. So it was only fitting that we had their first look there. He cut a dashing figure in his suit as he stood waiting. Veil blowing in the wind, Anna drew close and, with a breath, tapped his shoulder gently. Their smiles and embrace said it all. We enjoyed the sunshine and wandered these quaint alleys for their couples portraits before heading over to Rittenhouse square to join the bridal party. The light at Rittenhouse was absolutely spectacular and set the bridal party pictures on fire, in the best way ever. Then we grabbed the party bus and made our way to Front & Palmer for their wedding ceremony.
The Front & Palmer Wedding Ceremony + Reception
Just before their ceremony with all their gathered friends, Jeff and Anna had a private ketubah signing upstairs at Front & Palmer. Then, escorted by her mother, Anna made her way to Jeff under their chuppah. Their Jewish ceremony united their hearts in marriage. Jeff smashed a glass and they raced back up the aisle, officially husband and wife!
After their delicious smelling cocktail hour, they entered their reception straight into their first dance. They clung tight to each other as their song played, and smiled as only those deeply in love can. Then the music kicked up and it was time for the Hora!
When everyone had returned safely to the floor, toasts were offered to the newlyweds, including beautiful tributes to Anna’s departed father and Jeff’s late mother.
The rest of the night wore on in dancing and cake cutting and frivolity. Front & Palmer was certainly hopping.
