John James Audubon Center Wedding | Kerry Harney & Sarah Rinehart

State Trooper Sarah and her beautiful fiancé Kerry tied the knot in a John James Audubon Center wedding that was every bit as bright and amazing as they are.

Getting Ready for their John James Audubon Center Wedding

At her family’s home, Kerry was so excited to get ready for her wedding to Sarah. Her stunning Maggie Sottero gown was hanging in wait for her to slip it on. Mint Hair Studio had done an amazing job on her hair, it was the perfect look for her. Bold and beautiful. When it was time to get ready, her mom helped her button the stunning lace back of her dress. She descended the stairs to her wedding party that was waiting to cheers and smiles. When she arrived for her John James Audubon Center wedding, her dad met her there. He teared up seeing his beautiful daughter, but held them back and smiled as she pinned on his boutonniere.

Sarah, meanwhile, was having a blast. Energetic, she zipped through getting ready. Her suit was set off by the floral patterned tie that just added the perfect pop. Then it was off to John James Audubon Center to marry her love!

The John James Audubon Center Wedding Ceremony

The energy these two have individually is compounded when they are together. To be apart is the worst thing for them. Knowing this, they made sure to incorporate a first touch into their wedding day. A chance to squeeze the hand they would hold forever, calm the nerves, and be reminded of the love they would unite forever shortly.

Sarah walked into the orchard at JJAC with her dad. She couldn’t stop smiling. The bridal party followed her in, culminating in the arrival of Kerry. Escorted by her dad, she drifted down the aisle with grace. Sarah’s face processed a thousand emotions in a flash. It was clear she was overwhelmed by the moment. A memory she’ll carry forever.

They exchanged their vows and rings, punctuated with plenty of laughs. Sealed with a kiss, they triumphantly processed back up the aisle as newlyweds!

Portraits at John James Audubon Center

One thing that stood out about their wedding was the fully integrated wedding party. They simply asked their best friends to stand beside them as they made their vows as their bridesmaids and bridesmen. We loved the celebration of friendship this represented. We can’t forget the two cutest and furriest members of the wedding party, Radar and Penny; Sarah and Kerry’s amazing dogs. When Penny gave her blessing to the relationship, they knew they’d cleared a major hurdle. Together they rescued Radar, and their family of four was knit together.

Besides marrying Sarah, Kerry was super excited to take her place among the State  Trooper’s wives. She is tremendously proud of Sarah and her work to protect and serve the communities that surround their home. And there is a family that you join when you marry a trooper. Kerry was excited and proud to join that family. They made sure to mark the occasion with a group photo of Sarah and the other troopers, and Kerry and their spouses.

There’s plenty of places to photograph at John James Audubon Center, and we were spoiled for choice for portraits of these two. And they lit it up at golden hour. There was magic in the air as they talked and laughed, held each other close, and stole some private time to soak in the moment.

The John James Audubon Center Wedding Reception

Announced in as wife and wife, Sarah and Kerry opened the dance floor with a very sweet first dance. They were totally lost in the moment with each other. Then, they each took turns dancing with their dads. A father daughter moment to be treasured for all time.

During toasts, Sarah’s brother made a joke about Kerry being the sister he never had, and brought the roof down. Everyone was just so thrilled that these two had found each other and fell in love. Then, the party picked up and it was awesome. The John James Audubon Center rocked well into the night celebrating Sarah and Kerry and their new life together.
