If you follow our Instagram at all (and if you aren’t, you totally should!), you have probably seen these two lovelies before. Alex and Joey’s Longwood Gardens engagement session was absolutely perfect. Their beautiful romance and impeccable fashion led many to believe that they had just gotten married. That certainly bodes well for their wedding!
How They Met
Rutgers University in New Brunswick has grown near and dear to our hearts. We have quite a few incredible couples that met there- Nicole & Jonathan, Kimberlee & Chris, and now Alex & Joey. They met on campus at a fraternity party. Joey’s friend (and now, best man) introduced them. Sparks flew immediately. Joey was blown away by how gorgeous Alex was and knew he needed to get to know her. Alex thought Joey was extremely sweet, especially for a party boy. Things moved forward from there, and soon they were inseparable.
What They Love Most
Joey has a spontaneity that Alex adores. Mostly because it’s the opposite of how she would do things. He’s up for anything, loves trying new things, and is able to calm her down when no one else can. Alex encourages Joey to chase his dreams with supportive and loving care. He knows she’s in his corner at all times, cheering him on. He loves her for that and so much more.
Their Longwood Gardens Engagement Session
Holy wow! These two had an incredible session at Longwood Gardens. When we saw their outfits, we almost swooned. Alex’s stunning dress had everyone fooled into thinking that they had just tied the knot. Not to be outdone, Joey’s suit was perfectly tailored and pressed. He looked incredibly sharp. Together they created a perfect couple and made our job of photographing them super easy. The hard part was narrowing down the images to the best of the best. We can’t wait for their wedding on Friday!
