It’s so hard to believe that it has been months since we last got to see Christine & Evan at their wedding, but today, we want to take you back even further to their Morris Arboretum Engagement Session! If you’ve never been to the Morris Arboretum, it is definitely one of the gems of greater Philadelphia, with acres of gardens, greenhouses, and lots of lush greenery.
One of our favorite things about Christine & Evan’s session were the bold colors that they wore. The deep purple & bright coral that Christine work popped against the vibrant greenery & early changing leaves of their late summer engagement session. Whenever we are asked what a couple should wear for an outdoor engagement session, we always say “not green!” But after seeing how beautifully these two contrasted with the scenery, we are such big fans of vibrant colors!
Getting to know Christine & Evan during their engagement session was particularly wonderful. Ashley, Christine, & Evan were able to connect about the life of medical students & the challenges of long distance relationships during residency. Shortly before their session, Evan relocated to Ohio for his residency in pediatrics and Christine was spending her time trying to find a job that would move her closer to Evan’s.
One of the best things about an engagement session is getting to know our couples on a truly personal level. This allows us to better capture the wedding day through a lens of your own priority. These two have a genuine heart for children and have bonded over their deep love of family & faith. We can’t wait to share their wedding story with you next week! Not only is a Morris Arboretum engagement session beautiful, but did you know that you can also have you wedding here? There is no better place for an outdoor ceremony and an unlimited number of portrait options! Check out Jordan & Pete’s summer wedding at the Morris Arboretum from this past August!
