Osteria Wedding | Allie Still & John Anderson

Allie and John had an intimate Center City wedding at a unique and chic venue perfect for their day. With the city skyline taking over their invitation suite, to the LOVE statue cake-topper, this Philadelphia wedding had the most perfect little details. Even the tables were named after sections of city like Fishtown, Spring Garden, and Manyunk.

Osteria is a small Philly favorite restaurant with a warm feel and one-of-a-kind wedding venue. No design goes unnoticed in this intimate, but open and spacious shared ceremony and reception space. From the gorgeous and lavish greens surrounding the glass room at Osteria inside and out, to the delicate dalias on each table, it was the perfect place for Allie to walk down the aisle.

A grand golden harp started to play and Allie’s maid of honor walked down the aisle. When the bride finally stepped out with her dad, she and John had the same expression of excitement, cheerfulness, and love on their faces. Their short and sweet ceremony was filled with love and laughter. They exchanged rings and a kiss, and the cheering began.

Once they were officially husband and wife, we did a little exploring around Osteria for some signature Philly-style portraits. Allie’s contagious smile and laugh made everything effortless, shining brighter than all the string lights hanging around them. We posed for some night shots in front of a few city favorites like the Divine Lorraine and out in Broad Street, because who can pass that up at a Philly based wedding?

Another element that made Allie and John’s wedding even more intimate was the family-style dinner they served at Osteria where everyone at the table shares a large portion of a few different options. What better way to celebrate a new couple and the bringing together of two families than a family-style meal? This is a trend we hope to see more of! After the food, everyone gathered around to watch the bride and groom share their first dance as husband and wife. The evening ended with some delicious cake and more dancing.
