We love when couples revisit the actual spot where the question was popped for their engagement session. That’s exactly what Sam and Josh did with their Rittenhouse Square engagement photos. It was a perfect autumn day, cool enough for a cozy sweater, but warm enough to avoid nipped noses, and the trees were lighting up in their annual fire. But the real fire came from Sam and Josh.

When Sam and Josh first met at a wedding, they spent almost all night together on the dance floor. Sam had Josh locked in with her awesome dance moves, and all she could think about what when she’d be able to see him again after the wedding. She didn’t have to wait too long. They began dating and soon discovered that the other was just as awesome as that night on the dance floor. When they took a long weekend trip together to Baltimore, they knew that what they had was forever.
Josh brought Sam to Rittenhouse Square. In the center of the park there is a little gazebo park office. He dropped to one knee, in the bustling square, and asked Sam to marry him. She didn’t leave him hanging – she said yes right away and there was a round of applause.
So when they asked if we could go back to Rittenhouse for their engagement photos, we were happy to oblige. The changing leaves and cool weather just made their Rittenhouse Square engagement photos feel so cozy. It was easy to find some empty corners to shoot in, and we laughed a lot. Especially when Josh gave Sam a little tickle. Full body laughter is one of our favorite things. Their engagement session left us excited for their upcoming wedding, and we’re counting down the days with them!
