Scotland Run Golf Club Wedding | Allison Lynch & Joshua Wingenroth

“Josh and I met at a bar on New Year’s Eve my senior year of college. We grew as individuals to be better partners and made sacrifices for each other, because we knew we wanted to be together for life.” We absolutely couldn’t have said it any better to prepare you for their Scotland Run Golf Club wedding.

Getting Ready at Scotland Run Golf Club & Courtyard Marriott

Arriving at Scotland Run Golf Club was a breath of fresh air to our typical (and well-loved) Center City weddings. The sprawling golf club filled our eyes with flowers and lush green grass, it was paradise. And inside the clubhouse, Allison awaited us with all her beautiful wedding day details.

Every so often, a bride surprises us with a wedding gown we wouldn’t have necessarily pictured, but is so much better for it. Ally was one of those brides. Her killer mermaid wedding dress had the daintiest off-the-shoulder straps and sweetheart top. When she put it on, she was breathtaking. Add in a splash of color from her Joyful Bouquet florals, and she was every bit the radiant bride.

Not too far away, Josh and his guys were having a good time raising a toast to the almost married man. His light gray suit was pressed and ready to rock.

The First Look at Scotland Run Golf Club

On a cobbled path, in the midst of a garden in full bloom, Josh waited anxiously for Ally. Ann was doing an amazing job keeping him smiling and calm as he stood in the shade. Ally came outside and floated up behind him. She gently tapped this shoulder and they fell together like two pieces of the same puzzle. We then toured the course and used so many different locations for their portraits. Rachel loves golf carts, although she does tend to be a little wild at times.

We all got back to the clubhouse in one piece for some fun with the bridal party before the ceremony.

The Scotland Run Golf Club Wedding Ceremony

Ally and John tied the knot in the presence of their dearest family and friends, including all 8(!!) of their grandparents. An all too rare occurrence. They incorporated traditions that honored their parents in a special way, and spoke the sweetest vows to each other. The ceremony was sealed with a kiss and then it was time for cocktails and dancing.

The Scotland Run Golf Club Wedding Reception

One of the best things about a couple as sweet as Ally and Josh is how much time and thought they put into their guests’ experience of their wedding. They had games set up outside on the deck, plush stuffed animals for the kids, and they took the time to thank everyone for coming. Their first dance was all smiles and the toasts full of laughs. They agreed to let us sneak away outside for a quick dusk portrait and then danced the night away.
