Right in our backyard is a national treasure: Valley Forge National Park. And a stone’s throw from there is the Sheraton Valley Forge and we were excited to be in both places for Lauren and Amish’s beautiful wedding day!
Getting Ready for the Sheraton Valley Forge Wedding
When we got to the Sheraton Valley Forge to begin capturing Lauren and Amish’s wedding day, we were greeted by a happy and bubbling bride. All her details were ready to go, and we quickly got to work. The time flew by and it was transformation time, from bride to be to full blown bride. It wasn’t long before the dress was on and every perfect piece in place. We couldn’t wait for her to get to Valley Forge for her first look with Amish!
Meanwhile, Amish was busy himself. His suit fit him so well, and every detail made him the very dashing groom. He had a gift for Lauren that he sent up and she sent one in return. He smiled broadly as he opened it and we knew that he was ready to go see her.
First Look and Portraits at Valley Forge
Valley Forge is so near and dear to us. Not only for the incredible historical significance, but all the gorgeous places there are to take pictures there. In fact, when Rachel got married, she opted for her portraits there, somewhere off the beaten path. So we were really excited to set up their first look and get the wedding day ball rolling.
The entire portrait session at Valley Forge was gorgeous. We had spectacular weather and a couple who were crazy about each other. What more could you ask for? How about an adorable puppy! Tucker made an appearance and took some pictures with his spiffy mom and dad. We were so glad he could be part of their wedding day!
Wedding Ceremony and Reception at Sheraton Valley Forge
Once we’d shot portraits to our heart’s content, we got these two and their closest family and friends (gathered together from all over the globe) to their ceremony where they tied the knot.
Then, family and friends from all over the globe enjoyed the fabulous reception at the Sheraton Valley Forge. All those that Lauren and Amish love and hold dear were there, from India and Australia even! Those are some seriously strong bonds of friendship and family!
The night wore on and before we knew it, it was time to head home: all of five minutes away. Lauren and Amish, thank you for sharing your beautiful love and global community with us!
