They say opposites attract, and in their own words, this is true of Caitlin and Eric. Caitlin is gregarious and outgoing while Eric is on the quieter side. After two years of dating, they took a trip together to SoCal and knew that it was forever.
How Do I Love Thee? Let Me Count The Ways
Eric loves how caring and supportive Cait is. She always knows how to make me smile after a long day and she is fiercely loyal to everyone that she cares about. Cait loves how thoughtful and selfless Eric is. He always puts others before himself, and he doesn’t sweat the small stuff. He keeps her grounded. Together they take very few things in life too seriously. They love to laugh together and at themselves. Philadelphia is one of the dearest places on earth to them. It’s where their lives together really started and they couldn’t wait to include it in their engagement session and their wedding!
Society Hill and Independence Beer Garden
We started the session on an absolutely gorgeous early summer day in Society Hill. This charming section of Philadelphia is full of cobblestone, brick walls, and plenty of greenery. So much greenery, we were able to pretend we were in a lush garden at points. Through it all, these two were incredible. The warm sun and their love shone so bright. They’re just natural together. She brings out the best smiles and most gentle eyes from Eric. He makes her laugh like no one else can. Hand and glove. Peanut butter and jelly. Coffee and chocolate. They are perfect.
When we’d had our fill of the beautiful cobblestone streets of Society Hill, we ventured over to the Independence Beer Garden near Independence Mall. After a refreshing chill session in the shade, Cait and Eric found the table games and enjoyed a pint together. They crafted their save the date message and cuddled some more. The whole session was marked with laughter, fun, and lots of love. We are SO excited for their wedding in just ten short days!
