Jennifer and Kevin’s beautiful engagement session had us touring the streets of Society Hill for their pictures before ending our time at the place their relationship began: Race Street Pier. We loved the results from their Society Hill engagement session.
When we asked them about their thoughts for engagement sessions, Jen gave us this thoughtful response.
“We did have a loose plan in mind for our engagement session. Ideally we are thinking in the September timeframe. We met and were engaged in downtown Philadelphia (Kevin proposed at Race Street Pier) and spent a significant portion of the beginning of our relationship in the city, so we would like to take our pictures there! We spent a lot of time in the Old City/Society Hill/Headhouse Square sections of the city, and we had our first date at the restaurant Harp & Crown, so we would definitely want to include a photo or two at that location. We love Delancey Street and all of the old and historic homes in these areas. We are looking for a more casual than formal session, but can mix in a little fanciness :-).”
We think Jen nailed the casual with a bit of fanciness! Traipsing through some of the most beautiful streets of Philadelphia for their Society Hill engagement session was such a fun time for us. Having been cooped up for so long, getting out into the fresh air with amazing people was just what the doctor ordered.
We made sure to end their Society Hill engagement session underneath the Ben Franklin Bridge at the Race Street Pier. Another favorite spot of ours for engagement pictures! And the place where Kevin proposed to Jen. We are so excited to capture their wedding in just a little while! Here’s to the spring wedding season and all the gorgeous couples we get to photograph!
