Alex and Matt met in high school, though their story is not your typical high school sweethearts story. Matt asked Alex to his senior prom, but was heartbroken when the following year an invite to hers didn’t follow.
They didn’t talk for a while after that.
Six years they reconnected, Matt with a spiffy new hair cut. Alex knew very quickly that this was it for her, and she was excited to see how their relationship would grow. Matt is big into sports, and she loves working out. Together they’ve traveled to some beautiful places in the world, and hope to cross off more spots on their map soon.
For their engagement session, we took our time exploring Elfreth’s Alley and some other of our favorite locations in Old City. Through it all, they were all smiles, never taking themselves too seriously. We can’t wait for their wedding later this year!
