After meeting through mutual friends in college, Lauren and Kevin didn’t actually get together until almost two years after their initial introduction. Despite Kevin saying that Lauren was cute and Lauren noticing that he was a really sweet guy. However, when they did actually get together, they both knew very early on that it was meant to be. We were so excited to get to capture these two during their autumn in Valley Forge engagement session.
Autumn in Valley Forge Engagement Session
Their engagement session at Valley Forge was a prime example of their relational dynamics. Kevin is a little more high energy and Lauren is very go with the flow. In her words, “together we make a regular person.” Lauren loves that Kevin values her and does whatever it takes to make her happy and feel loved. He’s also the only one who can get her to smile or laugh when she’s upset. On the other side of the coin, Kevin loves that Lauren is a calming and grounding force. Always able to love him despite his foibles and when he sweats the small stuff.
As we wandered around during their engagement session, we watched these two play out their love in front of our camera. Lauren fits perfectly in Kevin’s arms, and he smiles at her so sweetly. They shone as bright as the golden sun setting in the distance. Autumn in Valley Forge is such a beautiful time, and we are so excited that we get to capture engagement sessions like Lauren and Kevin’s there!
