Spring at Ridley Creek and it’s beautiful mansion is a recipe for loveliness. Add in a newly engaged and deeply in love couple, and you have a feast for your eyes. Carolyn and Dan wanted to have their engagement shoot at the same location that they were getting married, showcasing the two seasons that provide a wealth of beauty all around: spring and autumn.
An important side note and something to consider as you plan for your own wedding. Carolyn and Dan used their engagement photos to send out save the dates to their guests. By having their engagement shoot at the venue they had chosen, they gave everyone a little taste of what was to come and also showed them another aspect of the mansion that they possibly wouldn’t have ever gotten to see otherwise. They took them in the spring which left plenty of time for sending out save the dates and invitations. With a little planning and forethought, they gave their guests a better picture of what their wedding was going to be.
We spent a lovely day wandering the grounds with this couple and the results were wonderful. It made us excited for their autumn wedding which we will feature later this week.
