Almost a year ago, we were fortunate enough to be a part of Charmaine and Scott’s beautiful December wedding – just five days before Christmas. As their anniversary approaches, we wanted to share where we first met them and got to know these two beautiful souls.
Charmaine and Scott had elected to have their engagement shoot done in West Philadelphia in front of a series of murals from a local artist. These inspirational murals have deep themes of love, friendship, family and community and were a perfect back drop for their photographs.

Two of the more than 40 murals in West Philadelphia – the left reads, For what I want, I will wait. I will wait 4800 years if I have to.

This couple is incredibly beautiful, but their beauty radiates outward from a lovely soul.

What’s mine is yours – these two live that statement.

Seriously, how cute are these two?!

Charmaine was stunning in every photograph – narrowing them down was a real challenge.

After traipsing about West Philadelphia all day, we reposed at a nearby park for a few nature driven photographs.
