Charmaine and Scott were both dressed, both excited and both positively glowing as they got ready for their first touch. We set it up at the perfectly named “Kissing Arches” on the campus of the University of Delaware where these two met and fell in love. They wanted to preserve the tradition of seeing each other at the altar but wanted to share a moment together before hand to reaffirm their love and commitment for one another in private before doing so at the church.
After a sweet moment of holding hands, we whisked them away to the church for their wedding – which you’ll see tomorrow. Afterwards, we went back around the campus for couple’s portraits. These two were a dream to photograph. Crazy beautiful from the inside out and madly in love with each other. We didn’t have to do anything, just point our cameras at the beauty and shoot away. Charmaine has an effortless beauty about her and Scott is her perfect mate. Together, they were magnificent, and it was a pleasure to witness.

A picture perfect couple!

Scott taking a moment to relax and play while waiting for his first look with Charmaine.

Charmaine’s beautifully textured bouquet held in front of her perfectly tailored gown as she again proved her toughness as she braved the cold air to show off her dress.

Aptly named the kissing arches, we set up Charmaine and Scott’s first touch.

A tender moment shared while preserving the tension of excitement before Charmaine and Scott saw each other at the altar on their wedding day.

These shawls kept the bridesmaids cozy on the outside even though their hearts were already warm with the shared love they had for Charmaine. Meanwhile, the men played it cool near this brick wall.

The campus where these two met and fell in love was covered in brick, providing beautiful backdrops wherever we went.

“We snuggle close together like two birds of a feather would be.”

Charmaine braved the chilly December air to show off the beautiful top of her dress in front of this great doorway.

Seriously, could these two get ANY cuter?

Charmaine has the most demure smile we’d seen that year, and it made her eyes twinkle magically.

No December wedding could be complete without some mistletoe incited kisses.
