It can be hard to get everyone together, looking decent, and smiling for the camera. There are so many outtakes, but we love the moments in between the picture perfect family portrait. The Fiebers gave us these in between moments in spades. Their two rambunctious little boys were full of energy and kept us on our toes to capture their silliness. But when you loosen up during your family session, the moments really shine.
Longwood Gardens is a perfect location with lots of space for littles to run around. You can also make sure that you look like you’re in a secluded park without folks in the background. With indoor and outdoor locations, this is a great rain or shine location for any session, including our contemporary family sessions!
One other thing about our contemporary family sessions, is that we love to make sure mom and dad get a few minutes to be together. When kids come along, it’s so easy to get wrapped up in them and what they’re doing and making sure they’re not about to perpetrate a catastrophe. So getting a couple minutes to be yourselves and together is one of the great joys of these sessions.
