We have a real treat for you on our blog today! Dara and Todd had met during a production of the Music Man and their story is best told in their own words.
“We met doing a show together. We were both involved in The Music Man at a local community theatre. I was cast as the lead role of Marian and Todd was conducting the pit. Early on, we each asked the director (a fabulous gay friend) if there were other singles in the show. The director showed me pictures of Todd on Facebook, but I thought he wasn’t “my type”. Then, a week later, Todd was at rehearsal for the first time. I dropped my bags in the doorway and swore one of my favorite curse words because of his amazing looks. (Apparently, he was not photogenic before we met!) We instantly started flirting, and by closing night had our first date and first kiss. Our affection for each other grew together at its own pace into something strong and one of a kind.”
To celebrate their engagement photos, we drove out to Hershey to the Playhouse Theatre where everything had started, and these two lit up the stage with their love and adorableness. We cannot wait to shoot their wedding on Saturday! It promises to be an amazing day filled with lots of panache and Wizard of Oz tributes.
