Darling Longwood Gardens Engagement Session | Ashley & Nick

Ah, life BC. . . Before COVID, that is. It was a time when we were still allowed to have big over the top weddings and dinner with a different set of friends every night. It was also a time when we could give our couples hugs at the end of a session and talk about all the excitement of planning instead of the headaches of re-planning.

Ashley & Nick were the last couple to get to experience Longwood Gardens BC. And what a beautiful way to end an era. These two are so easy together, smiling, laughing, and just exuding comfort in each others’ embraces. We had a wonderful time wandering the grounds and hanging around in the conservatory.

We’ve said it for years (& you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone who disagrees) – Longwood Gardens is absolutely stunning year round. So when these two were trying to find a place for their early March engagement session, we knew that we would be in great shape at Longwood. Even outside of the warm & cozy conservatory, we were able to find colorful vistas and lush greenery. These two even took a moment to curl up on the (cold) stone steps inside the carillon tower.

And although their wedding will be taking place AD (after distancing), we know that it will be a beautiful day when we will gather in the gardens of the Farmhouse at People’s Light as the leaves begin to change around us. And, above all, Ashley & Nick will be married and all will be right in their little corner of the world.
