It was an absolutely perfect summer day for cruising up the NJ Turnpike to the last exit before the Holland Tunnel swallows you up. Amy and Brent live in New York, and so they really wanted to incorporate that iconic skyline in their engagement pictures. The obvious choice was Hoboken. Obvious, and amazing!
Amy and Brent and their sweet pup, Maggie, along with her parents met up with Rachel at Pier A Park. It was early. Like, 8am early. There were people everywhere, running, walking their dog, grabbing coffee on the way to work. Those people weren’t in our way though as we got started. With NYC glittering across the river, we got right to work capturing these two and Maggie.
What is it about New York City that is so entirely captivating? Could it be that it shimmers with possibility and thrums with life? Is it the hugeness of it? Is it the testament to what humanity can do when it pulls together? Whatever the magic of NYC is, Hoboken gives you such a unique window into it. What an amazing place for engagement pictures!
