It was a warm spring morning that we journeyed to Ocean City, New Jersey for Jaclyn and John’s engagement shoot. The sun was gently rising, and the air was tinged with salt. It was a fabulous day to photograph Jackie and John as they celebrated their engagement. They were high school sweethearts, who had been together through many highs and some severe lows. This couple had already been tested by the fires of adversity, and not only did they survive it together, their love strengthened and they decided to declare that it would last forever. So John bought an incredible ring, and he asked the love of his life to marry him. She said yes, and there we were a few months later, walking the deserted beach with them, preserving their love for all time. This is just the start of their wedding week on the blog, and I would urge you to return again over the next few days to hear more about their incredible love story.

Let loose and have fun, possibly the best advice we can give. Jackie and John certainly did.

We know that these two will continue to leave side by side footprints in the sand for the rest of their lives.

Variations on “prom pose” give a wide range of pose options that keep a couple close.

Beautiful skies and the sound of waves, and a madly in love couple to capture in our lens – a morning well spent in our book.

Surf and sand and true love, is there a better combination?

The boardwalk on Ocean City, NJ was a bright and salty backdrop for Jaclyn and John’s engagement photos. We even stopped by Kohr Brothers, a summer must have.
