For bridal party and couples portraits, we took advantage of one of the many squares that are in Philadelphia. If you didn’t know, when Benjamin Franklin started designing the city, he intentionally wanted several parks or squares to be focal points for different areas – one of which is Washington Square. Located smack in the heart of Old City, this beautiful park has beautiful brick walls, well manicured lawns, and a fountain in the center of the square. If we are ever near this park, we can’t help but stop in.
Not only is the park beautiful, but the surrounding streets are splendid. Our favorite stair case is right across the street, and it’s fairly quiet too, allowing for some more intimate couples portraits. We really enjoyed taking Kate and Harry’s portraits here.
Kate was surrounded by her favorite ladies and picked a dress that allowed each of them to shine.

This is our favorite staircase in Philadelphia – adjacent to Washington Square Park, we’ve visited this site a few times for a quiet shot of the new Mr + Mrs.
