Kati and Joe met the old fashioned way – at a bar! Following the polar bear plunge at the Jersey shore one year. Since then, they’ve grown to be best friends and fell in love along the way. Joe proposed to Kati in a creek bed in Sedona, Arizona. A spot that’s on our bucket list for sure! Their Longwood Gardens engagement photos were so much fun and so beautiful.
Their wedding is on the list of those affected by the coronavirus, but they haven’t let that dampen their spirits. Their brand new wedding venue will be completed and we can’t wait to capture their wedding there next year.
As for their engagement photos at Longwood Gardens, there was a slight chill in the air so we stuck with the conservatory for the most part. It’s always so nice a toasty in there, and all the plants allow for the feeling of being alone, even though there are people all over. But once we’d hit all the usual places, we were left wanting a bit more. So we walked over to the DuPont house and discovered the stunning atrium inside. It was the perfect place for some snuggling on the stairs and was decked out in orchids. The bright colors really popped and we were thrilled with the results.
Bring on 2021! We can’t wait to celebrate with these two in the new year!
