Our great passion is capturing the precious and life changing events that people experience with one another. Obviously we do that with our wedding work, but we also love when those clients who we watched say “I do”, call us back to say “we’re expecting!”That’s just what happened for this Pocono Mountain maternity session for Gwendalyn & Steve Bobeck.
It was a chilly day in late March, but babies keep their own time, so we embraced the chill and traveled north on the turnpike to Lake Nockamixon. You may remember this beautiful lake from Gwendalyn and Steve’s engagement session. We were happy to return there for this Pocono Mountain maternity session.
Gwendalyn and Steve are so excited to become parents. They’ve already had some practice with their dogs, but are ready to add a less hairy addition to the family. Gwen was radiant. In full pregnant mama glow, she rocked a pair of maternity overalls for some hiking shots by the lake. Her natural habitat as it were. She and Steve love the great outdoors and are constantly adventuring together. It was only fitting that they adventure together again for their Pocono Mountain maternity session. At the start of their next big adventure.
Then, she changed into a beautiful lace maternity gown for a few more shots. This white dress was obviously very different from the last white dress we’d seen her in, but it looked no less fabulous. Steve looked good too, by the way. He’s such a proud papa-to-be. It was a joy to see how much their love has grown since their wedding and being able to capture their Pocono Mountain maternity session was a privilege.
