Amanda and Larry’s darling Rittenhouse neighborhoods engagement session was so much fun! Despite being a bit nervous in front of the camera initially, their photos are so sweet and feature a little scene stealer in Eden, their dog.
We met in the early evening at Rittenhouse Square. The weather was perfect! The sun was beginning to glow that deep gold photographers love, and some rays were shining straight into the park. The perfect set up for a little golden hair light. Amanda’s mom and dad were on hand to keep Eden when it wasn’t her turn in the spotlight, and we happily meandered around the Rittenhouse neighborhood to find some neat places for photos.
If you’ve seen our favorite staircase in Washington Square park, there’s a very similar one in Rittenhouse Square as well! Amanda and Larry took a breather together on these darling stairs, providing some great photo opportunities. The whole time, we talked about their wedding. Planning in the midst of a pandemic has been challenging, but they were determined to still get married on the date they’d originally chosen, in whatever capacity they could.
This past weekend, they tied the knot in an intimate backyard ceremony, and we were thrilled to be there to capture that as well! The big party is still on for next year, and we’re counting down the days!
