I know that winter is not everyone’s cup of tea, but, believe it or not, there are some people who really enjoy the austere beauty of winter. The nippy air smells clean and clear, the morning frost bejewels the slumbering flora, and when it snows, the swirling flakes trap you in a giant snow globe and blanket the ground in purest white. This is a gorgeous time of year and more and more people are taking advantage of the innate coziness that winter produces to facilitate their engagement session.
Nina and Kyle didn’t have snow, but they bundled up and braved winter’s chill as we wandered around Philadelphia for their engagement session. Nina’s sweater was delightfully warm and the pattern helped draw your eyes in towards their embraces. Kyle’s woolen navy coat was the perfect complement to the muted earth tones that Nina was wearing. Both excellent choices for the time of year. They snuggled close together on a park bench in Rittenhouse Square and on the stairs of nearby houses. Hands clasped tightly together for warmth, they relaxed together against the background of leafless trees. 
Kelly and Shawn enjoyed a snow covered field for their engagement session. The whole world was wrapped in a white blanket that shimmered and glittered in the cold winter sun. Kelly’s ring, however, glittered even more brightly against that backdrop. In their muted tones and cozy boots, they wandered through the quiet field holding hands and pausing to share a sweet kiss. The snow and chilly air drove them into each other’s arms, providing lovely poses for photographs. 
So you see, winter can be a truly gorgeous time to get your engagement photos done! Especially if you are having a warm weather wedding.
