When Molly reached out to us and asked if we might be available to capture her family as it was growing, we were so excited. Expecting in November 2020, this sweet family already had one rambunctious toddler and a newly adopted puppy! A recipe for a high energy session if we ever heard one.
Valley Forge Family Session
It was a gorgeous day in the autumn when we met at the Maurice Stephens House for this Valley Forge Family Session. Incorporating maternity photos into a typical family session is something that we love to do as naturally as possible, while still accentuating the feeling of expectancy. We don’t want mom to just be part of the photo, we want her and the baby bump to shine.
We also love getting some images without kiddos and furbabies too. Just the parents together, because anyone with kids will tell you it’s hard to get pictures of just you two after they make it on the scene.
Two year old Colin was full of life and energy. He found sticks and showed us with eager excitement. He ran around, and he did stay put for a few classic family portraits. Overall, a fantastic Valley Forge family session.
In Home Newborn Session
In November of 2020, the Concannon family welcomed Rory to their sweet crew! Our in home newborn sessions are a great blend of traditional posed portraits and allowing the natural interactions between family members their chance to develop and shine. Colin is a proud big brother now, and Chevy takes his duty as protector quite seriously. Rory is in good hands.
The whole time we were capturing this in home newborn session, we were laughing and reveling in the beautiful family dynamic that was playing out in front of us. This family is one of the sweetest and we hope we get to grow with them through the years!
