Morgan and Tom’s autumn engagement session at Longwood Gardens was so much fun from start to finish. These two are down to earth and fun-loving, and their engagement photos certainly capture that.
Autumn Engagement Session at Longwood Gardens
When we met in the lobby for their engagement session, it was clear that Morgan and Tom were both really excited to get some great photos. They were both so relaxed and fun. We instantly hit it off and spent the entire time laughing together and capturing some beautiful photos of the two of them. Tom is endlessly patient. He goes with the flow and is as sharp witted as they come. Morgan is equally down to earth but with a charming whimsy to her. They go hand in hand so effortlessly. And this really shone through in their autumn engagement session at Longwood Gardens.
We hit some of our favorite places. The Conservatory, which we love for its tropical flora and also its warmth (it was November after all), provided the bulk of our locations. The orchid room there is connected by our favorite hallway ever. The hanging greenery is so light and fluffy and ethereal, it catches light beautifully and is always worth stopping in!
But we did brave the cold as well. Because what’s an autumn engagement session at Longwood Gardens without some golden foliage to go with it? Plus, we then felt justified in grabbing a beer all together before calling it a night. Longwood’s partnership with Victory Brewing is a fruitful one (see what I did there) and their limited edition ale made with Longwood grown nectarines was ah-mazing.
Morgan and Tom were supposed to have an amazing wedding this weekend, and they still are! Just in a different way than they had originally intended. But we’re glad cause it means we get to party with them twice.
