Cafe Madison Wedding, Riverside, NJ | Jessica Hopely + Bob File

Rachel’s last wedding before maternity leave was an intimate Cafe Madison wedding celebration for Jessica and Bob, two incredible people who just wanted the chance to celebrate with their closest friends and family.

A Little Backstory

It began purely by chance. Jessica was back in town for a family function and was trying to see her Philly friends before heading back to Louisville. One of her friends and her husband called her to meet them at a local bar where they were watching the Phillies game. Despite her current look of gym clothes, no makeup, and messy pony tail, she went. While she was catching up with her friends, a guy walked in with a golf club. He was there to meet Jess’s friend, whom he knew from high school, and sell him this club. His name was Bob. He hung out with them for a while and afterwards, messaged Jess on Facebook. This started the ball rolling and pretty soon, they knew this was something truly special.

What They Love Most

Jess and Bob have an effortless relationship. Their primary method of communication is through jokes and laughter. Jess loves that Bob is extremely thoughtful and caring towards her. He loves that she can make him laugh at the drop of a hat. They had both waited a long time to find the right person and, now that they are together, they couldn’t be happier that they found each other.

Their Cafe Madison Wedding in Riverside, NJ

This was one of the most relaxed weddings we have had the privilege of photographing. Jessica and Bob were both extremely chill as they waited for their ceremony start time. Jessica was ready, she just needed to slip into her incredible Galina Signature dress. The intricate beaded back on this dress was simply jaw dropping. Meanwhile, Bob dressed in a dapper grey suit. He was ready and waiting.

In the presence of their immediate families only, Jessica’s ordained brother married them in a short and sweet ceremony. It was finally official.

The Reception at The Madison in Riverside, NJ

After wandering the grounds for couples portraits, including a brief climb onto a wall, Jess and Bob headed in for their reception. The evening was a light affair, full of food and fun. It felt less like a wedding reception, and more like a party with some pretty awesome guests of honor. Truly a high note to finish on before some time off.

Jessica + Bob, we hope you had a lovely stay-moon and that you get to take a trip together really soon! Here’s to many years of wedded bliss!
