We love that pretty much every weekend from March through November we get to meet incredibly talented individuals who work hard to give our brides the best experience possible. Planners, jewelers, caterers and so many more. Such incredible work deserves credit. Today’s Friday Love is Leigh Florist.
Lush Harvest Styled Shoot
One of our first experiences with Denise at Leigh Florist was when we collaborated on a harvest inspired styled shoot. Her incredible floral creations blew us away. It was the details. Instead of using the “go-to” baby’s breath, she utilized Queen Anne’s lace for her delicate white fill flower. Every arrangement with that in it had an airy and rather fairytale feel. Her ability to marry tones and textures to create something truly unique is difficult to quantify. You just have to see it.
In a truly unique move, Denise created a fresh flower necklace for one of our brides and completed the look with a delicate, pearl draped flower crown. Our bride was ravishing and utterly ethereal. The bouquets she created were each delightfully different. A full and vibrant cascade of orchids, a sweet soft suite of roses and other garden delights, and a daring dahlia studded statement. Absolutely amazing.
College of Physicians Vestier Styled Shoot
We got to work with Denise again when we were deep in the throes of helping create and photographing the Vestier painting styled shoot. Again, her work was beyond anything we had hoped for. Her creativity and command of textures give everything she does an elegant and unique look. Her flower choices seem to always be the perfect decision for whatever she is doing. She transformed the austere College of Physicians into a warm and utterly inviting paradise.
Her bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were exactly what had been collectively envisioned. Delicate and elegant, but full of life and vibrance. It helps that peonies and ranunculus are some of our very favorites. The flower girl’s crown looked like it had just been plucked from a French garden.
Denise and the entire staff at Leigh Florist truly have a gift for creating moving florals and would be a wonderful addition to your wedding day plans.
