Kelly and Shawn’s wedding was awesomely fun from the get go. Shawn and his groomsmen were joking and laughing all morning. Shawn had gotten them all bullet bottle openers, personalized and engraved with the date and their name. Kelly and her bridesmaids were excited and having a great time getting all dolled up for the day. Her flowers featuring stunning pink dahlias were a beautiful mix of color and texture. One of our very favorites from the year.
Because the weather was still unbelievably warm, they held an outdoor ceremony and everyone was comfortable. To add to the beauty, the time of year put sunset shortly after the ceremony ended, and we got the most beautiful golden light for their couples portraits. There was no bad way to photograph this couple. Kelly is beautiful and Shawn is devoted to her.
Their reception was a blur of activity and had so many beautiful details everywhere. There were mason jar cups for favors, gorgeous centerpieces and a fun photo booth for guests to create a memory they could hold onto for years to come.
