It began with a case of a mistaken identity (Jessica thought Alex was a friend who bears an uncanny resemblance when they first met) and culminated in a Radnor Hotel wedding. Jessica and Alex’s December wedding was full of warmth despite the outdoor temperature and spritzing rain. It actually made the day even more special!
Getting Ready for their Radnor Hotel Wedding
Jessica’s details are so lovely. Starting with her incredible invitation suite by The Paper Route. We fell hard for the laser cut edges and the bespoke gold type. Elegant and understated. Her Badgley Mischka heels were a perfect place to photograph the rings from Golden Nugget Jewelers. It was hard to tell what we loved more, the distressed band for Alex or the setting of her wedding band which made the ring just as lovely from the sides as it is from the top.
Jess’s Madison James wedding dress was stunning on her custom hanger. It looked even better on her! After a few portraits, we were ready to set up the first look!
Alex for his part was every inch a dapper groom. His royal blue suit was eye catching. To add a bit of flair, he had a royal blue watch, which we loved! We managed to pull him away from his groomsmen, though they were having a great time. But for some reason, he was more than happy to go outside. Maybe because his bride was on her way.
The First Look at the Radnor Hotel
Out on the terrace we placed Alex, and as Jessica placed her hand on his shoulder, his face lit up as he saw his lovely wife to be. Once they had had a few minutes to themselves, we wandered the courtyard for portraits. The weather was quite chilly, but you wouldn’t know from the way these two embraced the time. They laughed and danced, snuggled and kissed, and when the sky began to rain, they cuddled under an umbrella for some beautiful glittering pictures. Then, it was marrying time!
The Radnor Hotel Wedding Ceremony
Jessica and Alex married under a beautiful draped chuppah in the presence of family and friends. They chose to bring elements of the Jewish faith into their wedding including both the groom and bride being escorted down the aisle by their parents. After they had exchanged their vows and rings, Alex stomped on the glass to a rousing Mazel Tov and they exited as husband and wife.
The Radnor Hotel Wedding Reception
Oh my goodness, the details of Jessica and Alex’s Radnor Hotel wedding reception were a pure delight for the eyes. The warmth of the candles with floating evergreens, the cutest little elephant cake topper on the sweetheart table and the beautiful lace cut one on their cake, and the personalized champagne flutes, it was a spectacle. East Coast Event Group really set the mood for a rousing party with bright uplighting and a custom gobo on the dance floor. They cranked it up as everyone came storming in for their introductions.
Jessica and Alex, who had donned a righteous top hat, came into their reception to roaring applause. They opened the dance floor with their first dance. Welcomes and toasts were made, parents were danced with, and then the music came up for a rousing Hora.
The incredible Bredenbeck’s Bakery cake in all its golden glory was cut and shared, and the party was on! The Radnor Hotel’s ballroom was jumping all night, and we’re sure it’s a night none will forget.
