If you’re planning an engagement session and aren’t sure were to begin, then this Center City engagement session is perfect for you!
We met Rachel and Michael at the Brides and Bubbly event from Philadelphia Weddings the week before the coronavirus stay at home orders started coming down. These two are incredibly sweet. We had such a lovely talk with them about their story and their wedding day plans, and we were thrilled when they decided to book with us! Then coronavirus. So we had to put planning their Center City engagement session on hold until we could safely get out and start shooting again.
Rachel and Michael had chosen several spots around Center City that are important to them for their engagement session. The first being Rittenhouse Square. This is where they had their first date, and where Michael asked Rachel to be his forever love. This was a fantastic location because they were able to incorporate their two adorable dogs easily! Oh my, how cute are they, seriously! This was a lovely spot to start their Center City engagement session.
From there, we actually made our way down to their house in South Philly. They have a great roof deck with a gorgeous view of the city. Plus it was easy to incorporate the dogs for a few more homey portraits before leaving them home while we went back for more Center City engagement session locations.
A straight shot up Broad Street brought us to the iconic picture from the median. This is one of the crown jewels of Center City engagement sessions. There are few more iconic shots than the Broad Street view of City Hall with William Penn smiling down on the city of brotherly love. Right there is also the Lucy, where these two will tie the knot in the late spring. And we absolutely can’t wait!
