Mikaela & Vinnie’s Meredith Manor wedding day was an extra fun celebration for our team for a few reasons. First off, these two were celebrating not only their marriage, but they were celebrating their expected baby boy. We love when a couple’s kids are able to be a part of their celebrations, but it’s almost more exciting when everyone comes together to celebrate an anticipated child! And secondly, Ashley was along for the ride as a second photographer (a rare treat!), so these guys got to work with two of our lead shooters for a day of truly gorgeous photos.
Mikaela got ready in Meredith Manor’s beautiful upper-level bridal suite, with a pitched roof and lots of rustic wooden detail. Her personal details were feminine and simple, with an etched acrylic ring box and a whimsical, yet minimalist black & white paper suite. After she got dressed, it was time for her to read the letter that Vinnie had written for her. Somewhere between being a little bit pregnant and a little bit emotional from the day, Vinnie’s deeply heartfelt letter brought Mikaela to tears to the point that she couldn’t finish reading it out loud. She passed it off to her maid of honor who read the letter out loud for her and her bridal party to hear. Everyone was absolutely heartstruck by his thoughtful words.

At the same time, Vinnie was in the ballroom with his groomsmen pulling himself together for the day ahead of him. After buttoning up and tying in to his suit, it was time to head outside with the guys for some portraits. Before taking pictures with his full wedding party, Vinnie and his best man stopped for a few shots in front of his sweet getaway car, a borrowed sleek black Mercedes. Rather than taking formal photos with the groomsmen, Vinnie was looking for a good time. He brought his golf clubs and the guys goofed off for the camera until it was time for Vinnie to read his note from Mikaela. Vinnie was no more immune to tears then she had been. While he pulled himself together to prepare for the ceremony, we headed over to capture some of the details.

Meredith Manor has a beautiful grove surrounded by trees for your wedding ceremony. In front of a gorgeous gazebo strung with lights and flowers, everyone was ready to get Mikaela and Vinnie married. In a short but sweet ceremony, these two shared their rings, said their vows, and enjoyed an epic kiss as Vinnie leaned Mikaela back into a deep dip.

Wedding party portraits were over as quickly as possible, because these two wanted to spend as much time as possible enjoying each other’s company alone. And we are so grateful for the portrait time they gave us. Mikaela and Vinnie took full advantage of the grounds at Meredith Manor for their wedding portraits. Whether peeking through the greenery or posing in the gazebo overlooking the small water features, these two were so in love photographing them was a joy. And of course we couldn’t help but take a few photos featuring Mikaela’s adorable little belly bump!

After the portraits had wrapped, it was time to head inside the barn ballroom. Mikaela & Vinnie kicked off the events with a fun-filled first dance full of swirls and dips. Afterwards, their friends and family toasted them with myriads of fun stories and heartfelt sentiments. Then the dancing began. While the guests were busy getting their groove on, Mikaela & Vinnie stepped outside for one of our favorite series of nightime portraits that we’ve had a chance to capture this year.
