Getting Ready for their Historic Penn Farm Wedding
Deisy & Andrew both dressed for their Historic Penn Farm wedding at the nearby Sheraton with their closest friends & family. Deisy stepped right into her breezy, delicate Leanne Marshall dress that she found at Lovely Bride in Philadelphia (one of our favorite dress shops out there!) Instantly, she was an elegant bride.
Meanwhile, Andrew was with his father and friends getting ready. Part of his prep was also to dress Dominic, his and Deisy’s adorable son. Watching generations of fathers and sons get ready together was truly awesome!
Ceremony & Reception at Historic Penn Farm
So often we have brides tell us about their DIY projects and the details we can expect, but nothing that Deisy said prepared us for all of the detail that she put into planning her Historic Penn Farm wedding! There were little buckets and pails of succulents that she had prepared herself, chalk boards and signs with perfectly scripted hand-lettering, and the cutest Polaroid selfie station! She even made her own bouquet with layers of flowing greenery and white roses.
As the ceremony began, Andrew’s deeply emotional response to his bride moved us! Every woman deserves to be looked at like this when they walk down an aisle! Both Andrew & Deisy teared up during their deeply personal ceremony. Our favorite moment was when they met Dominic at the top of the aisle for an enthusiastic embrace! Our hearts melted!
The entire day was celebratory from the first dance to the cutting of the cake! And speaking of the cake – we could smell the amazing buttercream whenever we walked by!
