We’ve been so excited to share this Dream Weddings editorial with you since the moment we wrapped. When Martine shared his vision for this shoot and we found out that Open Aire Affairs and Leigh Florist were involved, we were completely jazzed to capture the beauty these people can create.
Dream Weddings Creative Vision & Reception Table Inspiration
Organic ethereal was the springboard for the shoot. We chose the dreamy Ash Mill Farm Bed + Breakfast. We were hemmed in by pine trees as we set up the wedding table. The rustic, rough hewn pine table provided by Open Aire Events was the perfect backdrop for the florals and stationery. We chose a light fabric runner to heighten the organic feel of the shoot. The dinner menu and leaf shaped place cards could have been dropped from the trees that surrounded us.
The selected color palette from Pantone was Tawny Port, Kale, Hazelnut and Pale Dogwood. We loved the way these colors married and played off one another. Leigh Florist created dramatic and whimsical arrangements and garlands to adorn the table which augmented the golden geometric pieces and candle holders. The laser cut Mr and Mrs sign, made by Ever Laser, was hung from the bride and groom’s chairs on a macrame banner. This brought a level of whimsy and organic feel to another aspect of the table.
Wedding Ceremony Inspiration
Ash Mill Farm Bed + Breakfast was the perfect location for this ceremony inspiration. We set up pine benches for guest seating facing a simple pine branch arch. Flanking the arch were two wine barrels, each adorned with gold candle holders. The arch was decorated with Tawny Port dahlias and daisies offset with plenty of Hazelnut roses and deep Kale greens. Punctuating the florals were more hanging golden geometric pieces, adding drama and an ethereal touch.
Cake Table + Wedding Cake Inspiration
The ever amazing House of Clarendon created a gorgeous and delicious smelling cake. The simple three tiered cake was roughly frosted with bright white frosting. This allowed the laser cut sign topper and greenery wreath to really pop without the cake disappearing. When set on a vintage cart and surrounded by golden wire cages and an organic cake stand, this cake really stole the show.
Organic Ethereal Bridal Inspiration
With all of the beautiful tablescapes, florals, and inspiration everywhere we turned, we needed to add a bride to complete the look. While she got dressed, we made sure to capture the beauty of this stationery suite by Paper Jane. Not only did the suite evoke feelings of wooded whimsy, but they’d even sourced some vintage stamps to take it to the next level. They made the backdrop for the engagement ring soar.
For the bridal look, we went with two dresses that were light and airy. One had a beautiful lace top that was straight out of a fairy tale. The fairy tale vibe was strengthened by the sweet wood swing hanging from a tree nearby. Leigh Florist had decorated this swing as well. It was truly magical.
