Knowlton Mansion Wedding | Jamie Noonan & Ross Witte

>

When Jamie and Ross first met with us to talk about their wedding day vision, we were instantly excited. They were planning a a dual ceremony wedding at two of our favorite places: St. Thomas of Villanova and Knowlton Mansion. We couldn’t wait for September.

Intimate Ceremony at St. Thomas of Villanova

It was an incredibly beautiful Saturday in September when Rachel and Ann arrived at St. Thomas of Villanova. Jamie and her bridesmaids were just about to arrive, and when they did, the magic started. Everything about Jamie’s white jumpsuit from Lam Couture was perfect. The pop of blue from her Badgley Mischka heels set the whole look on fire. The grounds of the church were perfect for some lovely bridal portraits. Then it was time for the ceremony.

About forty of their closest friends and family gathered for the intimate ceremony. Jamie’s uncle and godfather performed the marriage ceremony with the help of the man who had been like her grandfather. The resulting mass was heartfelt, deeply moving, and full of love and joy.

When Jamie walked down the aisle, Ross’s face was alight. He was so excited to see his bride and begin this day they had long and meticulously planned. As they were pronounced husband and wife, the air was thick with the sense of joy and love. They walked out of the church married, and ready for a second ceremony and celebration with the rest of their friends at Knowlton Mansion.

Getting Ready at Knowlton Mansion

Your wedding day is a momentous occasion, why not have two fabulous outfits? Jamie definitely made the most of the day by donning a stunning Liancarlo gown for her second ceremony. Purchased from Elizabeth Johns, the trumpet shaped dress boasted intricate lace and a beautiful illusion neckline. Each layer was lighter and more delicate than the one before, and she was absolutely radiant. She traded the blue heels for white, and completed the look with simple drop earrings and a gorgeous Swarovski bracelet. Her incredible bouquet from La Petite Fleur cascaded from her hands, pumping up the wow factor even further.

Just one room over, Ross was changing into his second suit. The crisp navy blue suit from Suit Supply was perfectly fitted for him. The burgundy tie and his amazing watch completed his look. He was definitely one sharp dressed groom. Then it was time for the first look, and we knew it was going to be great!

First Look at Knowlton Mansion

As the sun was beginning to sink in the sky, we set up Jamie and Ross’s first look outside near their ceremony location. Ross was waiting on the path as Jamie came up to tap his shoulder. The second her hand reached his shoulder, he smiled. Although we’d told him to wait a few seconds before turning, and we saw him strain to follow those instructions. He was just so excited to see his bride. And, oh was she worth it. Jamie was an absolute vision. Their embrace and kiss spoke volumes about their love for one another and how they’d looked forward to this day for so long.

Portraits and Ceremony at Knowlton Mansion

Knowlton Mansion is a stunning location and there was no shortage of beautiful places to get portraits of our bride and groom. The sun was low enough in the sky that we were beginning magic hour. The golden light fell so perfectly on them, it  resulted in a photographer’s dream. Not only were the outdoor portraits beautiful, we were even able to utilize some of the interior of the mansion for some incredible portraits. Even during the reception, we snuck into the wine cellar for some low light portraits among the wine.

Just before the ceremony, Jamie and Ross arranged to have their two adorable pugs brought by to get some pictures with their mom and dad. These two sweethearts stole our hearts and made Ashley super jealous of Rachel and Ann for getting to share this day with them. Once the dog sitter left to take them back home, it was time for ceremony number two.

Jamie’s godfather performed the second ceremony as well. They shared the vows they had written for each other through happy tears. We were so excited that Anthony from Be Films was able to be there to capture these beautiful words for them on video. They exchanged rings and were all too happy to seal their union with another kiss. Then onward to the party!

The Reception at Knowlton Mansion

Once again, Conroy Catering outdid themselves with the stunning food at the reception. Their attentive staff saw to every need, and even made sure we were fed and ready to rock when the dance floor opened up. Jamie and Ross’s first dance melted our hearts, and the toast from her parents made us feel like we’d known Jamie her whole life. They highlighted her thoughtfulness, determination, love for her family, friends, her pugs, and for Ross. Ross’s best man gave a thoughtful speech about the wonderful attributes Ross possesses. How he has high standards and Jamie soared above every one of them. He even revealed that after their first date, Ross had left with a sense that this was the girl for him for the rest of his life. With every story, Jamie and Ross shared glances and laughs, raised their glasses with each toast, logging every memory.

The night soon dissolved into a blur of parent dances, cake cutting, some amazing dancing (Jamie loves to dance!), and we were too soon on our way home from this incredible day.
