Is there such a thing as too many weddings? We submit that there is not, as evidenced by Ellen and Trevor and their three weddings! One of which took place at a castle in England, where Ellen hails from. And another that took place much closer to home, at the Barn on Bridge.
Getting Ready for the Barn on Bridge Wedding
Ellen beamed as she slipped into her wedding dress. We’d just spent plenty of time capturing the gorgeous details of their wedding day. We were especially drawn to Trevor’s marble inlaid ring and the darling ring box adorned with antlers. In the beautiful bridal suite at the Barn on Bridge, Ellen was buttoned up by her maid of honor before stepping out to have her first look with Trevor.
First Look and Portraits at the Barn on Bridge
Tonya had an umbrella at the ready as the sky threatened to unleash. But just before it had a chance, Ellen and Trevor met on the path and had time for one or two quick portraits outside before the rain began. So we put a pin in portraits until after the ceremony, when mussed hair would be more acceptable.
The Barn on Bridge Wedding Ceremony
Under the tent, Ellen and Trevor met and married. As the rain poured down, they kept their own water works from spilling over as they exchanged vows. Once the ceremony had concluded with a triumphant kiss, we stayed back under the tent for family pictures. Once those were captured, it was time for the reception.
The Barn on Bridge Wedding Reception
In a unique feature, Trevor and Ellen entered their reception following their Barn on Bridge wedding, and went straight up a flight of stairs to share their first dance on the spotlighted catwalk. This first dance was certainly flying high. Toasts were made, dances were shared, and Ellen and Trevor’s friends really know how to keep a dance floor moving!
