The Barn on Bridge is a near and dear venue to Ashley Gerrity Photography. three of the six studio members have tied the knot there! So when Olivia and Sam asked us to photograph their wedding there, we were all too happy to revisit such lovely memories while making capturing theirs!
Getting Ready at the Barn on Bridge
Olivia and Sam both got ready with their friends and family, she in the bridal suite, he in the grooms. Olivia’s simple white gown and her natural feel gave us all the good vibes. Her orchid studded bouquet from Penny’s Flowers was a gorgeous pop of color and texture. As she read her card from Sam and opened his gift, a lovely purse with her new initials embossed in a heart, she dabbed tears away before they could ruin her makeup.
Meanwhile, Sam was buttoning his velvet jacket and was helping his mom and dad with their flowers when a gift for him arrived. A stunning photo album with pictures for his eyes only. We watched as he blushed slightly and knew that the time was right to get him to his ceremony.
The Barn on Bridge Wedding Ceremony
The lawn out front of the Barn on Bridge is a beautiful place to tie the knot. In a short and sweet ceremony, Olivia and Sam exchanged their vows and rings as a token of their love. Their chalkboard sign gave guests all the information they needed so they could save the paper of printed programs.
Portraits at the Barn on Bridge
The day was absolutely gorgeous and so pictures outside around the grounds of the Barn on Bridge were a true delight. One of the few dry days of the 2018 wedding season. So we took full advantage. Olivia and Sam couldn’t have been more darling together. Their love radiates forth and leaves all who see it in a glow.
The Barn on Bridge Wedding Reception
Olivia and Sam wasted no time getting things started. They shared their first dance and parent dances immediately following their grand entrance. Then they rolled right into their cake cutting. This was all so they could get and keep the party going with no interruptions for the rest of the evening. The dance floor stayed packed all night! Everyone had a great time, non more so than the bride and groom!
