We were thrilled to get to be part of Julie and Zach’s dreamy winter wedding at one of our favorite places, Bolingbroke Mansion!
The Setting
Imagine this, in February, a fresh coat of snow on the ground of this stunning historic mansion in Radnor Township. Oh, and it’s 60 degrees outside! You are hard pressed to find a prettier scene for our bride and groom. Julie and Zach have been together for a long time, and they decided to make things official this past February in an intimate setting with family and friends.
Getting Ready at Bolingbroke Mansion
Julie was a vision as she got ready in the bridal suite of the mansion. Perfectly poised, she slipped into her gown and affixed her incredible jewelry. Including a vintage sapphire and diamond bracelet that she found a pair of complementary earrings for. Her glittery Badgley Mischka shoes were the perfect blend of style and comfort. Garnish by Catering by Design provided all the stunning flowers for the entire affair and we loved the bridal bouquet with all the textures and colors.
When she was all ready, Julie sat for a moment in the bridal suite and thought about her almost husband. You could see the excitement building.
The Ceremony at Bolingbroke Mansion
In front of their closest family and friends, Julie and Zach met at the altar with the brightest smiles in the world. They were beside themselves to be finally marrying their best friend. They made their vows and promises, they exchanged rings, and finally sealed the deal with a kiss! Then it was time to enjoy the evening together.
The Reception at Bolingbroke Mansion
One thing that is important to note about this incredible couple is that their family was already established before the wedding. They are expecting twins! This wonderful news added a new level of excitement and love when family and friends wished them the best as they grew their family. It reached a great height when Julie’s father pulled out her old Cabbage Patch Kid doll from her childhood. Adding to the incredibly touching moment was the fact that she had lost it a long time ago and he’d found it to save for her wedding day. What a dad!
The cake cutting was sweet and drama free. The dances were all tender and heartfelt. It was a wonderful wedding. We were so happy to be part.
