They reached out to see if we’d be interested in sharing our opinions just as I was planning a long overdue weekend to the beach for the summer, so of course, I was really excited to see their Ahoy Sailor! beach tote on the list of new items.
I opted to have the bag made with black & white stripes with my name embroidered on the front in copper. I always joke that nothing makes it into the studio unless it is on brand and the same thing applies to a lot of my personal items too!
The bag was just the right size for my towel, a beach read, and a water bottle. I definitely squeezed in a few snacks, too! I love that it’s not completely oversized, like so many beach bags, since I am just carrying enough to keep me happy.
It’s also a perfect fit for me to use to hold my laptop, notebooks, and wallet for when I’m working on the go and don’t want to carry a really formal purse. I’m a huge fan of reusable shopping bags and this striped canvas bag also could do a double for a quick grocery run (in fact, it already has!)
If there is anything I’d wish from this bag, it would be a tiny little pocket for my chapstick and a few spare dollars so that I didn’t have to dig when the ice cream cart came by. . . but aside from that, it is adorable and damn near perfect!
