We travel down to the Jersey shore fairly often for sessions. Typically we’ll end up in Ocean City or Avalon, but Sandi really wanted a Cape May engagement session! And not for the beaches, but for the adorable town of Cape May, especially Congress Hall. So, we packed up our gear and road tripped down for this beautiful autumn engagement session!
Sandi is one of the bubbliest and friendliest people you’ll meet. One of the things Jim has said that he loves most about her is how she is instantly best friends with anyone she meets. We felt that warmth and genuine interest from her during our phone calls, and then ten times more when we met her in person. Wandering Cape May with these two was so much fun.
We started at Congress Hall. This grand seaside hotel featured a gorgeous promenade where the two lovebirds strolled hand in hand, stopped for a couple public displays of affection, and some smile for the camera shots. From there, we literally wandered the streets of the town. The beautiful architecture of Cape May was on full display.
The Main Street of Cape May has so many adorable boutique shops that made for cute backgrounds. The sun was sinking and the light was gorgeous. We had so much fun capturing these images and touring this cute town. We were excited for their wedding in 2020, but you know, 2020 happened, and now we’re excited for their 2021 wedding! We might have to grab coffee together beforehand to get reacquainted since it’s been so long!
