With the AGP team scheduled to shoot SIX delightful Down Town Club weddings this year, it’s clear our couples have a great taste for timelessly elegant events. Just a few weeks before Will & Fred’s fabulously formal Cescaphe wedding at the Down Town Club, our team had the pleasure of spending a similar day with Joe & Len. After introducing us to a new love of capturing our couples getting ready for their special day together, we were thrilled to share this experience with Will & Fred as well. With a strong sense of community and love, the pair spent the day celebrating their love and the love of family and friends.
Getting Ready with the Grooms
Beginning the day together in their East Passyunk place, Will & Fred began the final preparations for their Cescaphe wedding at the Down Town Club. Their precise planning and careful crafting paying off as we began arranging all their dazzling details. The phenomenal Philly LOVE themed invitation suite designed and formed by the grooms perfectly paired with their matching rainbow cufflinks. Each groom donned vests and bowties in their own shade of purple coordinating and connecting their ensembles. The pair sharing quick kisses and loving looks while helping each other straighten and secure their bowties, cufflinks, and shoes. With two gorgeous grooms ready for the day, they took to the streets of Philadelphia for portraits before their Cescaphe wedding at the Down Town Club.
Photo Fun in Philly
While Philadelphia is known for many things, the City of Brotherly love has a reputation for its strong sense of community. Whether it be rooting for one of the beloved sports teams or coming together for Pride, nobody loves harder than a Philadelphian. Exploring our favorite iconic locations, Will & Fred beamed joy and love throughout the city. Making stops on the steps of Union League, City Hall, and our personal favorite of the day, Love Park. The grooms snuggled on the stairs, shared a dance on Broad Street, and smooched under the iconic LOVE sculpture before renting bikes and spending a moment partaking in one of Will’s favorite activities. We love when our couples can carve out some time to really make the day their own. After a quick ride, it was finally time for the Cescaphe wedding at Down Town Club.
Down Town Club Wedding Ceremony
With the ceremony set to begin in DTC’s beautiful ballroom, the flower children rode down the aisle Will-style on a beautiful bike with a basket in the back for the littlest. The aisle now peppered with petals for Fred with his accompanying sisters and Will with each of his parents to walk down. The sweet ceremony was officiated by their former roommate, Asha, who got to witness their relationship grow over the years they all lived together. Will & Fred read their personal vows to each other drawing a few tears, exchanged their Halloween wedding rings, and sealed their love with a kiss.
Cescaphe Wedding Reception at the Down Town Club
After quickly capturing a few formal family and friend photos, Will & Fred were able to enjoy the luxurious Cescaphe cocktail hour with all of their cherished guests. The grooms were so excited to gather and reunite members of their community and invited them to dress fabulously formal for their Cescaphe wedding at the Down Town Club. Meanwhile, Beautiful Blooms and the Cescaphe team splendidly set the ballroom for the celebrations ahead. The grooms were able to sneak a peek and practice their first dance in the empty ballroom before making a grand entrance in front of all the guests. The new husbands shared a fun first dance emitting joy and laughter throughout and welcomed their most prized people with a toast. Heartfelt speeches given by Will’s ex-boyfriend/best friend and Fred’s best friend of 40 years were a true testament to the grooms’ value of love and friendship.
Both of the grooms shared a dance with Will’s parents before Fred’s sisters joined them all on the dance floor. Making their special day even more fun and unique, Will invited up a few friends for an amazing a-cappella song and delightful dance number. The grooms cut their cake and gathered guests for the bouquet toss before dancing the night away with the help of Eclipse DJ John.
