Colleen has been a long time friend of Ashley’s since their days in the theatre and Starbucks, where Colleen is now a store manager. Nothing bonds you quite like 4:45am opening shifts. The only person who might know her longer is Dave. They’d met in high school, but like so many, lost touch over the years. Then they reconnected at Candlelight Theatre in Arden, Delaware.

When two people are meant to be, they fit together in the most natural way possible. These two are the perfect demonstration of this. Every smile was carefree. Every kiss was gentle and deep. They were just themselves, happy and goofy, loving and in love.
We wandered around Arden, finding little nook and crannies for beautiful photographs. One of the best parts about photographing two people involved in the theatre, when you ask them to “find their light”, they know exactly what you mean. After spending time outside, we made our way to the Candlelight Theatre for a few photos, honoring the genesis of their romantic relationship and a place that is near and dear to their hearts for a myriad of reasons.
