Deep in the heart of the city, friends and family gathered to celebrate newlyweds. Rich history combined with elegance; the Crystal Tea Room reception hosts an open air feel with an enormous glassed atrium. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, laughter and smiles. The party continued into the historic Crystal Tea Room reception, featuring carved columns and opulent crystal chandeliers. Comfy in their seats, the DJ and music brought the room together to introduce the couple everyone came to celebrate…. Katelyn & Ryan.
Getting Ready at Loews Philadelphia
The big day started at Loews, in downtown Philadelphia. The Loews takes pride in the little things that make a couple’s special day and really put together a beautiful experience. Snacks, Coffee, of course champagne. Katelyn’s suite was lit by the sun’s bright light, but made soft by the long curtains. Her classic and timeless dress hung off to the side. Mom and the rest of the ladies tidied up their hair and makeup and watched the bride don her dress. When everything was perfect, it was time to get the day started for the Crystal Tea Room reception!
Philly pretzels with cheese, Miller lite and of course Jameson. Ryan’s sharp 3-piece fitted suit hung to the side. The guys chatted up good ol’ times while Ryan put on his finishing touch – watch and bow tie. His father dusted his shoulders off and he was ready to go and see his soon to be wife for the first time of the day.

First Look & Portraits in Old City
The couple met in Old City for portraits in front of the Merchant Exchange Building, an exquisite masterpiece of architecture, constructed entirely of marble. Even more of a masterpiece was Katelyn and Ryan, an absolute display of timelessness. The couple embraced each other and took a stroll around City Hall with the rest of the wedding party for more portraits.

Crystal Tea Room Reception
The rest of the day was hosted at the Crystal Tea Room reception. The couple stood in front of friends and family, under opulent crystal chandeliers and said “I do,” too much applause and just like that, it was time to eat and be merry! The Crystal Tea Room reception team also pays attention to the little things that make a couple special and as such, cemented in the center of the shrimp bar was a Philadelphia Flyers ice sculpture. Back in the Crystal Tea Room, between hand carved columns and sparkling chandeliers family and friends danced the night away!
