We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating, we absolutely love getting to grow alongside our couples. It’s a perpetual joy to see how they have children, adopt fur babies, buy a home, or any other life milestone. Hannah and Dustin have given us this window into their lives since their engagement session back in 2015! Since then, they’ve gotten married, bought a house, and added sweet Adella to their family. And now, that little babe is one! So we packed our gear for a first birthday session and brought some tissues, cause we’re a bunch of softies at heart really.
We met at our go-to spot in Valley Forge, the Maurice Stephens House. This little gem is Google Maps searchable, has it’s own little parking lot, and is so easy to spread out and find empty places to shoot in! Our own slice of photographer heaven, and paramount for a first birthday session! We all know how much toddlers move around!
Hannah, Dustin, and Adella arrived and loved her sweet little first birthday session outfit! The gold bow was almost too much! It was so delightful to capture pictures of this smiley girl as she just enjoyed being outside on a beautiful day. Hannah and Dustin did a great job making her giggle and we loved watching them hold her and walk together. Well, as much as a one year can walk. We think the results from this first birthday session speak for themselves. Seriously, how cute is that gold bow!
We hope that next year, we get the chance to celebrate Miss Adella’s second birthday and catch up with this dear family again!
