The stage was set, the players were ready and as the music swelled, Hannah walked down the aisle to her beau. His face told a story of love and admiration, joy and commitment, and a complete devotion to his exquisite bride. They listened soberly to the charges from the priest to love one another through thick and thin, and to be patient and kind as they helped each other along the road of life. After vows and rings had been exchanged, they were pronounced man and wife and Dustin got to kiss the love of his life for the first time as his wife. It was a magical first kiss. As they left the church, they caught sight of a special guest – Pope Francis! Well, a cardboard cut out anyway. They had to get a photo of them next to the pontiff. Maybe they can get the real deal next weekend when he’s in town.
After a time for portraits, which you saw yesterday on the blog, it was time to boogie! A family friend had just built a wonderful barn to host events and there was even a pool outside. Guests enjoyed cocktails around the pool until it was time to eat. The bridal party delivered some memorable entrances, including an impromptu game of leap frog, leading into the main attraction: Hannah and Dustin entering as husband and wife leading into their first dance. It was such a sweet and tender first dance, full of smiles, kisses, I love you’s and sweetness. Afterwards, people danced the night away, and even though we were not there for the duration of the reception, we hear it got a little crazy. Perhaps some pool jumpers?

Watching Dustin’s face as he waited for his bride’s hand to be given to him was highly emotional. He was so excited.

First kiss as man and wife. What a delight to witness and document for all time.

As many of you know, Pope Francis is coming to town in just 10 short days. He made a celebrity appearance at Hannah and Dustin’s wedding back in June.

Adorable ring bearer and flower girls about to make their entrance along with the bridal party who decided to play a quick game of leap frog.

Introducing for the first time, Mr and Mrs DiStanislao!

Their first dance was achingly beautiful and full of love.

Their wedding cake was delectable and the “LOVE” topper was an incredible touch.

Hannah and Dustin were playful but nice for their cake cutting.

When the music is right, sometimes you just need to get a little height and dance in the clouds.

Throw your hands in the air, like you just don’t care. Hannah had a wonderful time dancing at her reception.

It’s always fun to document people having a good time.
Hannah and Dustin, we so enjoyed being a part of the day when your two lives joined as one. We wish you all the best as you continue your first year of marriage.
